Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating visually appealing, engaging, and professional video content. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the company’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Edit video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand project goals and audience engagement strategies.
- Ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of video content.
- Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, and graphics to enhance videos.
- Improve and correct lighting, coloring, and faulty footage.
- Stay updated on the latest editing software and techniques.
- Manage project timelines and ensure video delivery aligns with deadlines.
- Maintain an organized library of footage and edit projects.
- Optimize videos for various social media formats and platforms.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
- Understanding of post-production techniques.
- Knowledge of media formats and distribution channels.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work.
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow feedback.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
