Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in creating and managing WordPress websites, from designing the architecture to implementing SEO best practices. This role involves custom coding, troubleshooting, and deploying websites on various web hosting platforms. If you have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage projects effectively, and a passion for web development, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Meeting with clients to discuss website design and functionality.
- Creating the website architecture.
- Custom coding for website development using HTML and CSS.
- Designing and managing the website back-end, including database and server integration.
- Troubleshooting content issues.
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Monitoring the performance of the live website.
- Implementing SEO best practices.
- Handling research and being ready to learn new tools as required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Utilizing WordPress and Elementor page builder for website creation.
- Managing and troubleshooting WordPress plugins.
- Implementing and managing Yoast SEO and Cache plugins.
- Deploying websites on web hosting platforms.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for website projects.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with Canva or Photoshop for graphic designing.
- Ability to create newsletters and emailers using MailChimp.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery, would be an additional advantage.
- Ability to manage projects effectively.
- Proficiency in using WordPress and Elementor page builder.
- Experience in troubleshooting and managing WordPress plugins.
- Familiarity with Yoast SEO and Cache plugins.
- Experience with web hosting and website deployment.
- Strong ability to create and maintain project documentation.
