Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable HR Payroll & Compliance Executive to manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role involves handling salary administration, statutory compliance, tax deductions, and audit preparation while maintaining accurate records and addressing employee payroll queries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management:
- Process and manage payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.
- Calculate salaries, deductions, bonuses, reimbursements, and overtime payments.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including attendance, leaves, and benefits.
- Coordinate with the finance team for salary disbursement and payroll-related reporting.
2. Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory deductions such as PF, ESI, TDS, Gratuity, and Professional Tax.
- Handle filing and remittance of statutory payments on time.
- Stay updated with changes in labor laws and payroll regulations, ensuring company policies comply with legal requirements.
3. Employee Benefits & Taxation:
- Process employee income tax declarations and deductions as per government norms.
- Manage employee benefits such as Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance, Gratuity, and other applicable schemes.
- Assist employees with payroll-related queries, tax exemptions, and investment declarations.
4. Audits & Reporting:
- Prepare payroll reports and assist in internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Generate payroll-related MIS reports for management review.
5. HR Compliance & Policies:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
- Assist in drafting and implementing HR policies related to payroll, attendance, and leave management.
- Conduct periodic payroll audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRMS systems.
- Familiarity with statutory labor laws, taxation, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll processing tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with payroll software such as SAP, ADP, or Tally.
- Certification in Payroll Management or HR Compliance.
This role is ideal for someone who is meticulous, organized, and passionate about ensuring smooth payroll operations while maintaining strict compliance with labor laws.
Work Schedule
Workdays: Monday to Saturday
Week offs: Any 2 Saturday & Sundays (Subject to change by the Reporting Manager)
Job Timing: 12 pm to 9:00 pm/ 9 pm to 6am (Rotational) (Subject to change by the Reporting Manager)
