Tasks Expert Virtual Employee Services Pvt. Ltd is seeking an experienced Shopify Developer with a minimum of 1 year of experience. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Shopify development and a commitment to delivering engaging online stores. Join our dynamic team to enhance the e-commerce experience and collaborate across departments.
Responsibilities
- Shopify Development: Create, customize, and optimize Shopify themes to align with client needs.
- E-commerce Integrations: Implement third-party apps and payment gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) to enhance functionality.
- Custom Features: Develop custom Shopify apps, plugins, and scripts as needed for unique requirements.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize page load times and improve user experience (UX) for seamless navigation.
- API Management: Work with Shopify API and integrate various web services.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve issues across platforms (mobile & desktop).
- SEO & Analytics: Apply SEO best practices and integrate analytics tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with UI/UX designers, content creators, and other departments to ensure high-quality e-commerce experiences.
Requirements
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
- Familiar with jQuery, AJAX, and JSON.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of Version Control Systems (e.g., Git).
- Basic understanding of SEO and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Design Knowledge:
- Experience with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Strong grasp of responsive design principles.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Shopify certifications or completion of Shopify-specific courses.
- Experience working on Shopify Plus.
